Who we are

This is the official website of comedian Joel Lindley, at https://joellindley.com. It is operated on Joel’s behalf by Prometheus Information Systems Corp.

What we collect

Contact form: if you send a message, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, plus your selected purpose. It is delivered by email to Joel and retained in the site database so it doesn’t get lost.

Newsletter: if you sign up, we store the name, email address, and optional phone number you provide, solely to send you Joel’s updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.

Analytics: we use a self-hosted, cookieless analytics tool (Umami) that records aggregate page views. It sets no cookies, stores no personal profiles, and shares nothing with third parties.

Security and server logs: like nearly every website, our server and security software (Wordfence) log IP addresses of requests to defend against attacks. These logs are used only for security and are cleaned up routinely.

What we don’t do

No advertising trackers. No third-party analytics. No selling or sharing of your information. Videos on this site are hosted by us, not embedded from platforms that track you.

To unsubscribe from the newsletter, use the link in any email. To have your contact-form submissions or newsletter record deleted, email support@joellindley.com and we’ll take care of it.
